Marilyn wanted to sell her house and buy her dream home. There was just one problem…
With a full time, there was no way she felt able to manage fixing up her old house in order to move. So, she decided to seek out home buyers to work with her to sell the house.
Marilyn’s story is one we hear often from sellers who feel ready to move forward in their lives, and also weighed down by their current dated home. Thankfully, we were able to help Marilyn quickly reach all of her goals without a hitch.
But don’t take out word for it…

I Wanted To Sell My House So I Could Move
I’m Marilyn Arroyo…and I’m sitting at my house ready to move!
My house was paid off. I don’t HAVE to move.
I just wanted to move.
Once I got the idea in my head, I thought you know? I don’t feel like making the repairs that need to be done. I’m ready to downsize and find my dream home. Additionally, I feel ready for the next phase of my life, and ready for a move.
I’m a realist. I knew people wouldn’t want to buy the house in its current condition without me spending time and money on repairs. I saw everything that needed to be done
When I was already spending a lot of time at work, I knew I couldn’t come home and work even more on the house.

Process Of Selling To An Investor
We had already had one offer, but we didn’t feel very comfortable with it.
Then I got a text from Brian at Big State asking me questions about the house.
Brian called me early the next day and wanted to have a short inspection done. Someone came out that day to take a look on my lunch break from work, and Brian sent me an offer the next day.
I never thought I’d be able to close on this house AND close on another so quickly.
By selling to Big State Home Buyers, I didn’t have the headache. I didn’t have the time constraints of having to fix up the house or coordinate anything.
It’s the best decision I ever made.
I’ve said it: I would recommend it…100%.
